NOSE: Elegant, rich and multi-layered with fragrances of peach, apricot and tropical fruit, gradually more emphatic, before yielding to notes of candied citrus fruit

TASTE: Tangy acidity and savoury flavours with a full, firm structure and a clean-cut, lingering finish

MATURING:  Second fermentation in the bottles and maturation sur lie for a minimum of 24 months followed by an additional 2 months after disgorgement. The lower overpressure in the bottles (5 atmospheres) typical of Satèn endows it with a creamy elegance.

ABOUT THE WINERY:

Beginning with the person credited with bottling the first Franciacorta in 1961, Berlucchi is a renowned winery located in the Franciacorta region of northern Italy, celebrated for its exceptional sparkling wines. Founded in the 1950s by Franco Ziliani and the Berlucchi family, the estate played a pivotal role in establishing the Franciacorta DOCG designation. Known for its meticulous traditional method (Metodo Classico) production, Berlucchi crafts elegant and complex sparkling wines primarily from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes.
