ABOUT THE WINERY:
Jackson Brooke left the University of Melbourne in ’04 with a science degree before studying oenology at Lincoln University in NZ. A vintage at Wedgetail Estate in the Yarra Valley was followed by Japan, Southern California and then 3 years as assistant winemaker to Ben Portet. He sources shiraz from the Grampians and riesling, pinot noir and pinot meunier from Henty, making boutique wines out of a rented space at Witchmount Estate. -JAMES HALLIDAY
