LOCATION: Piemonte, Italy (Various vineyards in the Barbaresco area)

EYE: Soft ruby red of medium transparency

NOSE: Intriguing lifted floral complexity that combines well with the softer red fruits and spices

TASTE: Light, fine tannins that persist until the end, well-translated delicate spice characters and woodland berry

MATURING: Fermented in concrete tanks at 28°C and left to macerate on the skins for 20 days, with pump-overs twice a day. Ageing of the wine takes place for 6 months in large neutral oak barrels prior to bottling

NOTES: The ideal starting point to approach this great vine and territory, to understand its personality in a more immediate way.
